MARKETING WRITER

Overview of Responsibilities

Our Marketing Writer needs to be s a storyteller, responsible for creating interesting, clear, understandable messages for a wide variety of business and technical target audiences. The ideal candidate will be skilled in writing both long- and short-form content for distribution by all media.

 

 

Core Responsibilities
- Write clear, concise and compelling marketing content for a wide range of
clients, with a focus on technology
- Create grammatically clean long-form copy (whitepapers, eBooks, etc) as well
as effective emails, headlines, taglines, calls-to- action, and blog posts.
- Write in multiple styles and for multiple formats as required by client style and
prospect personas
- Collaborate with the client services team to ensure creative concepts, tactics
and copy are in line with client style, voice and messaging/keyword strategy
- Contribute to the research and ideation of client content marketing strategies
and collateral
- Complete execution of all copywriting efforts to ensure delivery of client
materials on strategy, on budget and on schedule
- Lead marketing standards of creative quality and excellence. This includes
marketing optimized content that considers SEO and keyword strategies.
- Contribute to our agency’s content creation efforts, balancing the specific
demands of the role with participation in broader agency initiatives

Requirements

- Strong writing skills

- Willingness to learn new things continuously

- Knowledge in marketing as well as some knowledge in SEO principles

- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, English or a related field

- 2-5 years’ experience as writer in a professional environment

- Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks

- Ability to write clear and engaging educational and promotional marketing content for clients in a variety of industries

Marketing Coordinator (Boston)

Overview of Responsibilities

Penguin Strategies has an exciting new opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to support our Account Managers in providing top-notch service to B2B technology brands. This position is based in Boston in a small satellite or home office.

You will assist in developing and implementing marketing initiatives for an array of clients from industries, such as telco, cyber security, data analytics, cloud storage and more.

Requirements

Assist with the implementation of a coordinated marketing approach for multiple clients, measure and analyze results of campaigns and ascertain improvements for future campaigns, coordinate and execute the production of marketing collateral, such as blogs, eBooks, infographics and case studies. Execute e-marketing and social media campaigns on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, assist in the crafting of the marketing messaging strategy and remarkable offerings for assigned client accounts, support the writing of strategic marketing plans for clients, and assist with client kickoff meetings in conjunction with the rest of the marketing team. Must also work with the team to ensure clients’ messaging is delivered in consistently innovative and engaging ways, while supplyoing weekly and monthly status meeting with clients to ensure we are continuously improving their bottom line.

 

Prerequisites

1-2 years experience and incredibly fast learner. BA in marketing, communications, or related field, as well as an understanding of business issues, market trends and marketing program development. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentationwith an ability to work in cross-functional teams, meet deadlines and exceed client expectations. Must have the ability to interact with diverse and remote marketing teams and champion projects across the organization with strong project management skills and the ability to work at a fast pace under tight deadlines. Proven attention to detail is a must, as is a very strong proficiency using Microsoft Office

 

Preferred Preference will be given to candidates who: Have experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation Have experience managing organic social media campaigns and are team-oriented but can also work independently
