Recruiting an Electrical Engineer for Content Writing - Remote, Freelance Position


We’re looking to hire a freelance technologist who will write blogs and web content for a few of our clients. We are a digital marketing agency that works with clients who are technology vendors.We are looking to hire someone who will write on topics that deal with:

  • Status of regulation of Wi-Fi
  • Status of regulation of radio frequencies on US and Europe
  • Explain to engineers (who are system architects) various aspects of new chip technology

Required skills and experience

  • BSc or higher education in Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to write at a native English level.
  • Experience working at one of the following jobs:

- Developer of wireless technology of some sort

- Product manager in wireless

- Customer support role supporting developers in some wireless related technology company

- Sales/Business development role where you sold to system architects that are developing wireless equipment

Scope and payment

It will be project-based, each month we would issue a request for completion of 2-4 projects. Each project is a writing task that would take a professional between 5 to 20 hours to complete. The rate range is between $40 to $90 per hour, depending on your level of expertise, and depending on how much additional work we would need to put into each item after you’ve submitted it.

We’re looking for a creative, forward thinking Graphic Designer to join the fast growing design team within our marketing agency.

The Graphic Designer position involves daily work for multiple B2B clients from the high-tech sector, and entails creating and developing materials for websites, social media and other content marketing assets.

This position is full-time, based at our Ra'anana offices.

About the job:

Working alongside Account Managers, understanding and identifying digital graphic design needs for each client account.

Provide visual content ideas, based on current content marketing trends, in order to create more engagement around client website pages, blogs, and social media presence.

Creating graphics to supplement content marketing assets, including infographics, images for blog posts, white paper/eBook design, SlideShares, paid ad campaign banners and more.

You should possess the following attributes and skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in digital graphic design.
  • BA in graphic design from a recognized institution.
  • Must be a proficient English speaker.
  • Agency experience or knowledge of content marketing is a BIG advantage.
  • Team Management experience is a big advantage
  • Awareness of design criteria, and latest trends in digital media.
  • Strong understanding of branding.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in close collaboration with team members, in addition to working independently.
  • Proficiency in UX Design is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of CSS and HTML an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Sketch or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Ra'anana based - PPC Specialist - Full time

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and maintaining PPC activities for Penguin Strategies client accounts in collaboration with account management teams.
  • Continual optimization of client PPC accounts and campaigns including ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization opportunities, designing and executing tests to create new acquisition strategies, landing page testing, competitor and landscape analysis.
  • Strategize and Implement successful bidding strategies and manage client budgets.
  • Working on paid media campaigns across Google and social channels, with a heavy focus on Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Search.
  • Conducting, measuring, and implementing the results of A/B tests for ad copy and audience targeting.
  • Analyze client’s business goals (increase leads, increase sales, awareness, funnel nurture, etc.) and translate to a digital marketing proposal.

Experience and Skills required:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in PPC
  • Highly analytical, highly organized, strong attention to detail.
  • Technical expertise (HTML, XML, JavaScript, tracking, retargeting codes, using tags).
  • Understanding of the B2B landscape and B2B personasGreat communication (will be working with account teams + client-facing).
  • Oversee accounts on search platforms and paid social media.
  • Familiarity with AdWords, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube.
  • Experience with Google Analytics.
